Fashion Night Out will celebrate its third annual event around the world on September 8, where buyers and fashionable take on the LA streets after sundown to celebrate local designers and boutiques. The purpose of the event – started with Vogue editor Anna Wintour, in collaboration with Condé Nast in 2009 to help remedy poor retail sales and draw attention to the fashion business as a whole.

With over 200 stores participating in open-to-the-public shares, THR has selected a list of parties that are sure to satiate the most demanding and most fashionable Los Angelenos.

As James Franco spends his time at the Oscars after co-hosting duties? Making music. The actor has just turned into a music video, which was released June 23, but seems to have been generally considered to date by Kalup & Franco (Franco, the duo said that New York Magazine’s really more Kalup Linzy’s). Regardless, in the clip, Franco can be seen in the background.
The music is part of an ongoing collaboration, Linzy said in a statement, Pitchfork reported today. The duo first EP drops July 12, 2011.
